Custom Session

1-2 Hours: $100 per Hour

As a bodyworker, my goal is to help you feel your best. I use a mix of modalities that customize your massage to help release muscles, supply fresh blood to them, balance your body, and help you feel relaxed and rejuvenated. If you would like a more focused modality please feel free to request a focused session.

Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines an array of rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and can include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger Point Therapy is a style of bodywork that focuses on releasing those tender "knot" areas of tension. It is similar to acupressure points, except its focus is more in the belly of the muscle rather than along the energy pathways of the body. These "knots" are built up throughout a person's life due to physical, mental, and/or emotional stress. During a session, focused pressure is applied through a variety of techniques order to release the trigger points. This process can be somewhat painful at times, yet the effects are lasting and profoundly transformative. Your session should never cause more pain than you can withstand, I work to keep you as comfortable as possible. Communication is essential to ensure your safety and comfort.

My approach to Trigger Point Therapy is used with Swedish and or Deep Tissue per client needs.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after treatment and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

CranioSacral

CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle yet powerful technique that is effective in releasing neck pain, back pain, and mental stress. It does this by optimizing the movement of cerebrospinal fluid through the spine and around the skull. Developed by physician William Sutherland, this therapy provides a very soothing and relaxing healing experience. Session time varies per personal need.

Lymphatic Drainage

Lymphatic Drainage Therapy is a very light treatment that aims to gently and rhythmically move the lymph through the body, especially areas trapped edema in the body, relieving pressure and enhancing the functioning of the immune system. It can be used as both a preventative and remedial technique, aiding in faster recovery from injury and strengthened resistance to illness.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release is a soft tissue therapy intended to eliminate pain, increase range of motion, and rebalance the entire body. It does this by using massage techniques to stretch the fascia and release the bonds that exist between the fascia, muscles and bones.

Reflexology

Reflexology focuses on applying pressure to the specific nerve zones in your feet or hands. Unlike other massages that intend to mostly relieve tension in the feet themselves, reflexology is a far more in-depth science that aims to harmonize your entire body. According to reflexology, every part of the human body is mapped into your hands and feet. Reflexology treatments have been found to be highly effective for conditions such as allergies, headaches, and depression.

Reflexology is also a great alternative for clients that are unable to rest comfortably on a massage table.

Hot Stone Therapy

Heated stones are used to glide over your body delivering relaxation and promoting circulation to your muscles. This allows your muscles to release tension and stress more efficiently than with a traditional massage. The overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing, grounding, and rejuvenating.

Cupping Massage

A gentle vacuum therapy that is not an irritant to the skin or body.  It draws inflammation out from deep in the tissues to be released. The skin can turn red with strong movements, indicating that circulation has been brought to the surface. This modality increases blood supply to muscles and skin, opens and helps circulate lymph, can ease cellulite and scaring. Utilizes the ACE method.
